A note from the Bride…

Everything about our wedding day was absolutely perfect. A lot of people contributed to help bring our vision to life.

Thank you to my beautiful bridal party for being by my side every step of the way, throwing in little surprises, and making sure every concern of mine was addressed.

Special shout out to Joe Wamba for being able to transport décor to the venue when I decided at the 12th hour that I needed to bring everything I owned on my honeymoon. And thank you to the love of my life, now husband, Dave for helping to assemble moss centerpieces at 11:00 am the day before the wedding. I love you.

Thank you to Dave’s parents for hosting a beautiful and delicious rehearsal dinner. The after-tizers were a hit.

Thank you Elinor for being my lantern fairy and assisting with other last minute décor that I was unable to organize in time to give to the venue. I knew I could count on you to get everything out beautifully.

Sissy and Uncle Johnny assembled and delivered beautiful hotel bags for our guests, going above and beyond to even deliver a bag to family that stayed outside of the blocks. Among other countless things, they also assisted with cleanup at the end of the night and allowed us to use their car for our 57,000 lanterns.

Thank you to Amanda and Ms. Peggy for sharing our chosen readings during our ceremony.

An extra special thank you to my cousin and our officiant, Jenny, for not only agreeing to officiate our marriage but doing a damn good job of it.

Thanks to DeAndre and Behren for transporting various décor and bags for my girls.

The biggest shout out to my parents for basically doing anything and everything to make the day perfect. My rehearsal dinner dress was in the wrong car? Dad can get it. Need to drop off 300 lbs of décor the morning of the wedding with no prior direction of what it is or where it goes? Dad’s a little frantic, but he’s got it. Need a giant detailed crest cut out in vinyl for a seating chart mirror? Another design for a welcome mirror? 2 Signature drink mirrors, 2 memorial mirrors, a “choose a side” mirror? Need to personalize 6 cups and 6 totes, and make 18 table numbers? Mom can do it. Need 27,000 papers printed out the night before the wedding? Mom’s got it. Stay late Sunday while I figure out what I actually need to pack on my honeymoon. No problem. They were incredible.

And finally thank you to our guests and especially Dave’s groomsmen for partying it up all night long. Seriously the floor was packed all night and I loved that.

My vision, and oh my what a vision it was, wouldn’t have been possible without the help of all of these people. All of our love and thanks. Cheers!
