Operation: Proposal

Nine years is a long time for anything, but it was worth the wait. Of course Dave knew there would be a proposal a long time ago, but the where, when, and how all had to be perfect. In planning a trip to Colorado with all of their friends, the perfect opportunity had finally arrived.

A proposal on a snowy mountaintop, surrounded by friends, was the ideal setting. A cabin was picked out, lift tickets purchased, boards waxed and sharpened, flights booked, driving routes planned, and last but certainly not least, a ring was chosen. the group was let in on the plan for the proposal, becoming the perfect accomplices to help pull it off.

Arriving in Colorado after the flight (and after an arduous 28 hour drive for some), the two hour drive to the mountain, and settling into the cabin, there were eleven people keeping the elaborate plan a secret. It took two days exploring the gorgeous mountain to find the perfect spot, but when it was found, there were no doubts; and after the question was asked, no doubt about the answer.
